Google connections are made per workspace with Google's official sign-in (OAuth). You choose which Google products to connect and can review every permission on Google's screen.
Connect
- Open your workspace and go to Connections.
- Under Connect Google, tick the products you want: Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads and/or Business Profile.
- Sign in on Google's page with the Google account that has access to them, and allow every permission shown.
- Back in the app, choose the Analytics property and Search Console site that belong to this workspace's website. We suggest the ones that match.
- Save. We load up to 16 months of history; charts fill in over the next few hours.
Submitting sitemaps to Google
Submitting your sitemap through Search Console needs full Search Console access. If your connection is read-only, the Indexing page asks you to reconnect and allow the Search Console write permission.
Business Profile
The Local page shows your profile audit, reviews, posts and the local rank grid. Live Business Profile data depends on Google approving our API access; until then the page explains what is missing.
If access expires
If Google access expires or a permission was not granted, we pause reading data and show a reconnect banner. Reconnecting takes one click and nothing is lost.
Disconnecting
Disconnect on the Connections page, or remove the app from your Google Account under Third-party connections. Data received from Google is deleted within 30 days.
